Pittsburgh, PA – August 2025 – CIL—a nonprofit real estate development organization—has recently welcomed Jim Settembrino as Senior Business Developer. In this role, Jim will support CIL’s growth strategy by cultivating partnerships, sourcing new opportunities, and expanding CIL’s visibility in the mid-Atlantic region, with an initial focus on Pennsylvania. He will work closely with CIL’s marketing team and provider agencies to broaden the organization’s reach and client base.

Jim is well known and respected in the field for his years of leadership in human services. Prior to joining CIL, Jim Founded Our Own Home in Pittsburgh, PA, an agency serving Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Our Own Home merged with Supportive Concepts for Families based in Reading, PA where Jim recently served as CEO. Jim oversaw programs and services that advanced independence and inclusion for individuals with disabilities. Through that role, Jim developed deep industry connections, built successful partnerships, and helped organizations navigate complex challenges in housing and support services.

“Jim’s reputation, knowledge of the industry, and long-standing relationships in the region will be invaluable as we expand our impact,” said Kent Schwendy, President & CEO of CIL. “We are excited to welcome him to the team and confident that his leadership will help us meet, or even exceed, our goals for growth.”

Based in Pittsburgh, Jim has already begun representing CIL at conferences and meetings with regional providers, and he has played a role in identifying new opportunities and strengthening CIL’s connections in Pennsylvania.
